UU Congregation Considers 'Good and Evil'
Special to the Post | 6/23/10
Back to the News Summaries
On Sunday, June 27, the Pagosah Unitarian Universalist Fellowship service topic will be "The Good and Evil Aspects of Technology," presented by Richard Lindblad, who will explore technology as it seeks to change our lives.  He points out that "Most human beings never give much thought to this topic and seldom ever consider that they may have a choice!"

Richard will select a variety of products and services that we use every day and let the congregation decide if our lives really improved as a result of these products.

Employed by AT&T for 30 years, Mr. Lindblad has an MA in Organization Behavior and a BS in Management Science.  He has taught graduate and undergraduate classes for 15 years.  Currently, he provides marketing and management consulting services to Pagosa Springs businesses.

The Children's Religious Exploration (CRE) has come to an end for the season. As their study series on the Seven Unitarian Universalist Principles ends, the young people and children will have a party with "LOVE Bingo," charades, Pictionary, balloon toss, and fun food.

At 9:00 a.m., the monthly pre-service Sing-a-Long, accompanied by Jean Smith, offers the opportunity to learn some new songs, or just have fun singing.

The service begins at 10:30 a.m. in the Pagosah Unitarian Universalist Fellowship Hall, Unit B-15, Greenbriar Plaza. Turn east on Greenbriar Drive off of North Pagosa Boulevard by the Fire Station, then left into the back parking lot and look for the big sign.  All are welcome.
